Tam Lin is also known as The Glasgow Reel and is often played in sessions first in D minor then in A minor. This arrangement is in D minor. It is lively and fun to play. The bowings and ornamentation can be varied throughout. It is not too difficult to play!

good idea to produce these cello works, they sound really spatial and that also means spiritual!

This is a really lovely arrangement of Tam Lin for the cello. The typesetting is gorgeous, and the music is all there for you with bowings, fingerings, ornaments, grace notes, and phrase markings. Follow along with Ilse as she plays it on her video, then try it on your own!
